My journey into writing
Writing has always been in my heart. The fact that you can go inside your imagination and let it take you to another world or another time is one of the greatest gifts we've been given. I am honored to be able to put that on paper to share with others. Getting to teach my students to bring out that imagination in their own writing has reminded me how much I love to create stories. I believe in my students and feel that the education world needs more creativity. Books should take you to a world that helps you believe we can all do better. My hope is that through my writing and my work, I can encourage creativity and inspire a belief in a brighter future.
About me
I live in a great community in the heart of Ohio where my family and I love to walk downtown, kayak on the river, and spend time in nature with our friends and family. My husband and three children are the most important things in my life, and our time together is valuable.
I have been a teacher and a high school swim coach for the past 15 years. My favorite thing about being a coach and a teacher is that each student and athlete I've worked with has taught me something about myself as well.
